Junkyard Rocket was a four-piece band with a love of Chicago-style blues, particularly the records released by Checker & Chess in the 1950s & 60s.

The band was based in South London and played at festivals and other events around the UK. A typical setlist contained blues favourites, rarities, originals & a few surprises.
